Financial lifecycle

A sale is more than an order total.

UmiPort organizes the events that determine what ultimately reaches the seller’s books and bank.

Sales activity

Orders, FBA/FBM sales, B2B events, shipping components, promotions and relevant tax components.

Post-sale activity

Cancellations, returns, refunds, partial refunds, chargebacks and related reversals or adjustments.

Marketplace finance

Referral fees, fulfilment/storage charges, reimbursements, reserves, taxes, settlements and payout components.

Authorization

Seller-controlled access.

UmiPort’s production Amazon connector is designed around seller authorization rather than asking a seller to hand over Seller Central credentials.

Launch implementation

The production connector will use Amazon’s Selling Partner API authorization workflow and the permissions required for the specific financial/reporting operations UmiPort supports.

What happens after connection

01

Identify seller and marketplaces

Associate authorized marketplaces with the correct UmiPort company and accounting destination.

02

Import selected history

Retrieve the supported historical periods available through the relevant Amazon API/report sources.

03

Continue incrementally

Process new financial events without re-posting transactions already accounted for.
